International Event coming to St Leonards as the Bexhill Giants Basketball-Club host the World Club Basketball Tournament , Bexhill 2015 at the Summerfields Leisure Centre 12th/ 13th September. Teams from countries including Venezuela, USA, Tunisia, Ireland, England, Phillipines and Lithuania will be competing in one of the biggest international tournaments staged in the UK. The weekend will see hundreds of players and spectators at the tournament which will be filmed and syndicated worldwide ,and will include a free youth coaching clinic and local cheerleaders and dance troupes. We are looking sponsors and vendors for the event , 'Be Part of Something Special'
From USA, to South America to Africa the Bexhill Giants are spreading the word on British basketball through the World Club Tournament. Two of the many objectives of the event are to raise the profile of this fantastic sport to new fans , players and investors. In addition to hosting a festival which brings different cultures, styles and people together who love basketball. It's easy to sit on the sidelines bemoaning the state of British basketball ,but more rewarding to do something about it.So get on board folks.
